"50+1 - Tous Ensemble - Inclusion dans le sport" is a project of the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee which, funded by the Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, aims to provide targeted funding for projects promoting inclusion in and through sport.
With this project, the Luxembourg Paralympic Committee (LPC) is supporting its member associations, sports federations and sports clubs in the development and extension of sports opportunities for people with disabilities within their structures, in line with the idea of inclusion. The main aim of the project is to develop (inclusive) training, courses and competition opportunities, as well as (ongoing) training for instructors and coaches.
The project targets all active and potential disabled sportspeople in Luxembourg, as well as those responsible for sports clubs/associations and federal sports federations. By improving the structures of the services on offer and expanding the network, it will be possible to improve the conditions for people with disabilities to actively integrate into society through sport.
It is possible to create offers that open up new opportunities in sport for people with disabilities and thus promote social inclusion. Expanding the range of sports on offer should also make it possible to inspire enthusiasm for disabled sport among people who have not been approached to date. To achieve this, new methods of promotion and recruitment need to be researched and explored.
The focus is mainly, but not exclusively, on the project sports listed below. Projects in other sports may also be accepted if they meet the named criteria.
Note: The grant application must be submitted before 31.12. of the previous year or 30.6. of the same year (Exception grant year 2025 - application until 31.1.2025 - start of project possible).
