Dear athletes,

The 5th HandBike-race in Luxembourg will take place on september 18th and 19th 2010. This race is part of the EHC-circuit and we are proud to organize this year the Finale Race of EHC, season 2010.
The event is also classified as an UCI – P1 race and we welcome these athletes in Luxembourg too.
We thank all the participants of the past and hope to have a lot of registrations this year too.
We hope you enjoy the days in Luxembourg and wish all of us good weather.

Results Para cycling P1

The road race count for the P1 world ranking points in respect of the UCI rules.

Results EHC

The time trial as well as the road race count for the overall ranking of the European Handbike Circuit (EHC). P1 world ranking points will only be awarded for the combination of the two races in respect of the UCI rules.
This will be done by points awarded to each place in the two races. Winner will be the handbiker with the fewest points in addition.

Cycling Licenses

All cyclists participating in EHC-Colmar-Berg event will be required to have a cycling license of their national cycling federation.

Classification

Classification according to UCI/EHC regulations.

Specific regulations

Personal chips are not allowed.
The use of a protective helmet in the corresponding colour of each division is obligatory.
The safety-bar is obligatory for the HandBikes.
The race will be held in accordance with the terms and regulations of the UCI and EHF.

Competition-days

The races will take place on a circuit of 3,961km.
The registration and accreditation will open at 9.00 a.m.
Parking is in front of the circuit.

Saturday 18 september

EHC/UCI Individual Time Trial for Handbikers only – 2 rounds
The competition will start at 11.00 a.m. There will be a one-minute start interval.

The award ceremony for the P1/UCI road-races will take place approximately 2 hours after the race.

Sunday 19 September -- EHC/UCI Road Race --

Divisions will start block by block. The race will be stopped after the first athlete has crossed the finish line.
Riders who have already finished the race have to leave the race circuit as soon as possible, this by the right side.

Entry deadline is Friday september 3rd 2010.
Late registration after this date won’t be possible due to organizational reasons.

The handbike registration fee is 50,00 Euros and covers both races.
The other races registration fee is 30,00 Euros.
Please prepare 20,00 Euros for the chip deposit.

You can pay the day of the race, 40,00 Euros for the cyclists and 60,00 Euros for the HandBikers.

Antidoping

Drug testing checks may be carried out using UCI rules.

Medical Assistance

Red Cross medical assistance is in the start/Finish area.

Equipment Check

Within two hours before each race all handcycles and helmets will be checked by the technical delegate. Athletes using the wrong color helmet in road races will not be allowed to start.

No claim can be made for a refund of the registration fees.
The organizers are authorised, for any reason whatsoever, to make changes to the event or even to cancel it for good reason. In each of these cases no claim can be made for refund of the registration fees and neither can the organizer be held liable for compensation by participants.
